RESTAURANTE CREPERIE BRETONNE ANNAICK — Restaurant in Valencia

Since my earliest memories, my mother has made traditional pancakes (crêpes). Even having been thoroughly spoiled like this at home, I can say that the "crêpe au citron" we had for dessert at the Crêperie bretonne was excellent. The galettes we had were delicious. I had actually never had one before. Better late than never! Definitely something to put on your bucket list! The service was top-notch. The food was served quickly, and I especially appreciated something that blew me away completely. We were two and wanted to order a large salad for starters, but the person serving us suggested we take a medium one because the galettes are really big. We followed her advice, and she was right! She saved us from being too full afterward or having to leave food on our plates, which would have been a shame because it was all sooo...

Dined in for lunch in Oct. Location is very near the Plaza of the Virgin (Cathedral of Valencia, etc.) but slightly off the main, and very busy, area. Tables are inside & out, but, due to being on a pretty narrow street, we chose inside. The decor is very interesting, so don't miss it. Our waiter spoke English, so answering various questions from the menu wasn't an issue. Luckily, though having never been to Brittany, I was somewhat familiar with the food due to the Jean-Luc Bannalec mystery series. I had a savory crepe that included an egg (I can't recall the name & the Menu isn't online). It was huge; way more than I could possibly eat! Very pleasant staff but had some trouble communicating in English. From waitress description, we could not understand what the savory crepes would look like so opted for a salad and sweet crepes for dessert. Salad was nice - the prices on the menu is for a big portion of salad, you can ask for a small one which will be a coupe of euros less. We wish we ordered the savory crepes though. They looked nice as we saw it at the table next to us. We saw it after we finished our salad… of course lol. I would not recommend sweet crepes - we had cookie & cream, pear and chocolate ones....
