Stumbled upon this place by chance during my visit to Valencia, while trying to see some sites. Arrived shortly before 2pm and was greeted at the door shortly after arriving. The restaurant had a few open tables that were awaiting diners with reservations. I asked for an open table for one and the manager informed me that they were all reserved. He did however offer me a table near the door on the promise I could be out before his 3pm reservation showed up. I promptly orders the paella valenciana (for 2, since a single serving wasn't an option), but this was what I wanted and I know it takes a while to prepare. By the time my meal arrived, 35 minutes later, the restaurant was full. The paella was spectacular. Full of traditional ingredients like chicken, rabbit, snails and ferradura the dish was seasoned with rosemary and contained artichokes. The rice was perfect and offered a light crusty (socarrat) on the bottom. Served traditional in the paella pan with a big wooden spoon, I quickly began to devour this deliciousness (I was on a time constraint, remember). I tapped out about 3/4 of the way through the meal, promptly paid, and left. The restaurant is cozy and has a cool vibe. The service was great. My server was efficient and friendly, and the manager made me feel very welcome. I enjoyed this experience so much I may try to return for lunch again tomorrow. Located right off the plaza of the Cathedral de Valencia down the street with the McD's on the corner. You may want to call ahead and make reservations, as they appear to...

We went here for an early lunch and decided to try this restaurant - overall, we’re happy and satisfied customers.

We were served by Leo most of the time, and he’s very efficient and attentive. We ordered the Russian salad to start, followed by Paella Valenciana, and ended with coffee and lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

The waiting time for each dish was very decent. And we liked so much the ambiance, food very well presented. We enjoyed the taste and flavor of the salad; great portion for us to share. And then, the paella - we never tried Valenciana with snails before, so we thought that was interesting. We both liked the flavor of the Paella; one side note - the type of rice that they used was somehow not the usual quality and portion-wise smaller than we have tried. Yes, it’s a smaller portion than others - and we still enjoyed their Paella style. Then, we’ve got the cake with vanilla ice cream (perhaps quite pricey for a dessert) and coffee - all we can say is the perfect combination - everything compliments one another. Americano was amazing, the best so far americano we had in the city area, and we enjoyed the lava cake - not too sweet and just a nice portion for us to share.

Russian Salad - 11.50€ Paella - 33€ Agua - 2.40€ Americano - 4.40€ Lava Cake with A Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream - 8.50€ Total 59.80€

Again, we’re both surprised by the discovery of this place, and it is one of the restaurants we will visit repeatedly. It is worth the visit and very well recommended—good...

Came with wife after dinner nearby around 2130 to enjoy a dessert here. The restaurant was about half full. We walked in and asked a gentlemen with a suit on and earpiece if we could sit for dessert. He said yes, sat us down and we ordered with him within 3 min of sitting as we knew what we wanted as we looked at the menu outside. We sat for 30 min as we watched them serve entrees, desserts, and drinks to basically every other table around us. My wife finally asked the same earpiece guy about our dessert and he looked confused and asked if we had already ordered. We reminded him that we ordered directly from him and he looked confused. I could tell they never put out order in and I was so disappointed and upset that we just got up and walked out. Reading through some old reviews it’s clear this is not that guys first time being terrible at his job. I would NEVER step foot in this place again after being treated like invisible customers. There are many good options in Valencia with excellent service. This place and especially suit earpiece guy is not one of them. Go somewhere else and enjoy your meal and be treated with respect.

** They responded to my review with a complete fabrication. They didn’t offer ANYTHING. Ridiculous that they would make up lies about offering liquor and an apology. It’s one thing to apologize for bad service in a follow up comment…it’s another to completely make up a story about apologizing and offering liquor. That’s CRAZY to make up a story like that. Your management...

The food and service were good initially. I am a full native speaker of Spanish (with a Uruguayan accent). For some reason, the waitress kept trying to speak to me in English (despite my main waiter speaking to me in Spanish). I ordered a paella for 2 (and yes, I ate almost all of it). While I was eating it, the waiter kept making side comments about me to other workers as if I could not speak and understand Spanish. He said, "It's as if he got out of prison and was having his first meal." I also overheard comments about me eating with my hands. I'm Hispanic. We eat with our hands. When my waitress returned, I made sure to say, "That was great. It's as if I just got out of prison and was eating for all the time I was there," to which the waitress offered me a compliment drink when I asked for the check. The waiter never came back to serve me (I really wonder why). They had the gull to think that a simple cocktail makes up for being called a prisoner. They are lucky I didn't say more. WILL NEVER COME BACK EVER.
