I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews before we went, but we had a reservation so decided to give it a try. The salad was quite ok so thought it was not quite so bad. The octopus not so great. Unfortunately the fish we ordered was not fresh, although the waiter assured us it would be.
We requested the fish to be grilled but it was still covered in oil, which does not make sense. We ultimately got 2 very small pieces of fish each, which makes me wonder where the 650 grams of fish went. I had the impression the waiter, who sounded north African, thought non-Spaniards do not understand food and did not take our wishes seriously. The prices were quite high, especially when one considers everything. For example 7 Euros for a small side dish of french fries (!). We paid 185 euros for a dinner for 2 persons, quite a handsome sum for which one would expect the food to be commensurate with the price, which alas was not the case. When the bill came I decided to check it, which I normally do not do. Unfortunately there were items we had not ordered there, which they removed once I pointed them out, but this should not happen, and leaves a bad aftertaste. Overall a very disappointing experience. I would be hard pressed to recommend...
Read moreI cannot recommend this place overall as it's vastly overpriced. Go somewhere else.
The restaurant was near our hotel so we decided to try it. Normally I would check reviews etc but went along with others in the group to try it. On arrival the decor was superb and it seems that this is what you pay for. The welcome from the staff was not very welcoming and the male waiter was quite dismissive and made no effort to help when asked about the menu. The female wine waiter was more friendly. The food was good - we had Russian salad to start which delicious but we were also charged over 5 Euros for 3 small pieces of French bread. All 3 mains were fish-based and tasty but the portion sizes were tiny. It was 30 Euros for 2 small filets of sea bass which was accompanied by pleasant but minisucle portion of julienne vegetables. Wine in Spain is usually good value but here it cost 25 Euros for a very average rose which had no flavour. We didn't bother with dessert. The bill for 3 people for 2 starters and 3 mains plus wine...
Read moreWe came two people. Really bad, probably the worst value for price restaurant I have ever been. Half bottle of wine, 2 entries(really small portions), one entrecôte to share and 2 dessert at super top price of 142€. The worst is that entries were just ok but entrecôte quality was completely average... French fries were from a frozen bag... C'mon this place is a joke, thanks god I was invited here...Avoid this place, we ate few, having a proper dinner we can seriously talk about +100€/person. At this price you got MICHELIN...
