Met a friend here for a Saturday lunch. We had the Chili Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Butter Chicken (all without cilantro, though my wife could taste that they had accidentally put cilantro on one dish and removed it, unfortunately, the oils remained which has the soapy taste she can't stand). I asked for the Chili Chicken extra spicy and it had a little kick, though like most places in Valencia, they dumb it down. I'm still searching for a place that does super spicy. Maybe someday. Service was great and they serve Cobra beer which is always a winner! One of the upside/downside things is how they serve the main dishes. They have metal shelves that they put on the table with lit candles inside. On the positive, it keeps the food nice and warm, but the downside is that it raises the temperature at the table several degrees which can be the difference between pleasant and overwhelming during a Spanish summer. The service was great and we want to go back to try a weekday menu del dia. For our portion, we paid €40 for 2 entrees, 2 beers, and rice so it was a little pricier than an average lunch around town, but...

After two unforgettable weeks exploring Spain and tasting everything from traditional Spanish to Turkish and other international cuisines, our final meal at The Royal Buddha truly stood out.
This Nepali and Indian restaurant offered something different, and we’re so glad we chose it. We walked there for dinner, and from the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere had a calm, high-end feel — elegant but relaxed.
We ordered the Karahi Chicken and Chicken Curry, and both dishes were packed with flavor. You could really taste the fusion of spices — bold, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. The food felt authentic and fresh, with that comforting richness you hope for in Indian and Nepali cuisine. My son and I agreed it was one of the most delicious meals we had during our entire trip.
As we head back to Canada, this dinner was the perfect send-off. A beautiful and flavorful end to our time in Spain. Thank you to the team at The Royal Buddha for making our last night...
Read moreWe went here tonight to celebrate a birthday. There were 20 of us and it did not feel cramped on two tables. It was a great discovery and I'm sure we will return when we're in the area. Attentive, intuitive, and friendly servers who speak English and Spanish. We paid €27 a head for starters and a main and rice/breads plus wine/beer, and there were leftovers we took home. Excellent value for money. All the standard dishes you might expect but there were also some lovely Nepalese dishes on the menu I've not seen elsewhere and I would highly recommend. We were asked if we wanted the spices mild, medium, or hot in every case, and the food turned out matched those specifications. Also worth noting is that there are several vegetarian options so there are plenty of dishes to keep coming back to try. I strongly recommend that you try it out if you're in the area, you won't regret it, I promise you. Great for groups or for an intimate night out alike. Looking forward to visiting...
