Miguel is the soul of this place, he’s such a great owner!!
We spotted it almost by mistake, as the Universe made us find a car park slot 1min from this little gem.
I’m Asturian, so when I saw I could have a sidra on my way to Madrid I felt delighted.
Miguel was super super busy, as it was only him to serve the whole restaurant on a really busy lunch service. However, he did not let us down!
It really impressed us to see how a man who should be at home resting and enjoying his pension was able to run the whole place so easily: taking order, serving food, pouring a coffee while taking a payment and making a joke to a teenager that was sat next to us.
They have sidra Trabanco, which is obvs the best you can find. Make sure you try this (and don’t drive after it if you’re not used to tipsy driving!)

Anyways, we recommend the pulpo, the cachopo (of course) and the homemade peach pudding (my husband’s favourite).
If you’re around, give it a try, be nice and patient with Miguel and you won’t regret it. Top...

El sablazo fue considerable, 15 euros por una ración, bastante bien de cantidad, pero de calidad dejaba mucho que desear, y...
