Looked the place up on Google. So we decided to go in for some food before boarding the ship. It was a lovely looking little tavern. The menu looked amazing. However, that is where we hit the first wall - the menus were in Spanish only and with the help of Google Translate we figured out most of the items on the menu. However not a single member of staff could (or to us it felt - was not willing) to offer any help with questions about the menu. Food started to come out fairly quick & it was absolutely delicious. Shortly after however, more table got occupied & after long wait we started to worry. People who came in later than we did, kept their food brought out like a clockwork. Our food was nowhere to be seen. We had to tell the waiter 3 times that we have to get back onto the cruise ship before we finally got heard. I thought long & hard about writing this review - on one hand, the food was stunning. However, it was hard not to notice the ignorance in...

To sum things up: just don't go there. Single word Galician item names on the menu might work if the waiter spoke passable English. Google translate largely failing, plus a waiter with minimal English, and quite possibly on something, made for an interesting experience. Food was brought out in a haphazard order and over a very long time, more than an hour. Probably due to the kitchen being a tiny thing in the back corner. The pulpo was not cleaned. The veal entrecote arrived rather raw looking, and had to be sent back, to come back cooked, but now dry. The veal Milanese was made of veal, true, but mediocre at best. To be fair, the accompanying fries tasted better than they looked. The floor was slick. Do not let the other innocents in there deceive you. Just. do. not. go. there.
Final thought: the final total was cheap. Would've settled...
Read moreWe were a table of 9 without a booking and they accommodated us beautifully. The food was simply out of this world! The only minus is that due to its size and being such a large group we felt like we should leave after 2 hours of eating their sublime tapas menu (razor clams were the highlight for the group) and drinking their beautiful local wine as there was a queue beginning to form out the door. Having said that - do NOT let this hinder you from going here. Our group will remember this venue for years to come. Incredibly well priced as well.... It was perfect.
Ps. Didn't manage to get a photo of the razor clams as they weren't on the table...
