Amura — Restaurant in Yaiza

Honestly can’t believe how bad our meal was here. It was the worst we have had on the island after being here for many months.

The price was expensive and from the start it was all bad - we ordered razor clams starters and they were so undercooked that we didn’t finish them. They didn’t look good when they came out & My partner got sick from them afterward. They also charged us 22 euros for 6 razor clams.....

We asked for our red wine not to be cold, it came out cold.

The Second course was an expensive steak with no flavor and cold potatoes. COLD POTATOES at this level of restaurant was shocking.

When we told the waiter how everything was bad, our answer was “oh, really?” Without any apology or way of making it better.

On top of that it was all extremely expensive.

The type of place that looks nice on the outside but doesn’t live up at all to expectations. I definitely recommend that...

Delicious food! Truely one of, if not THE best seafood Paellas we've ever had. In fact it was so good we had it twice during our stay! The prawns and squid starters were also delicious!

Slightly more expensive than some of the other restaurants in the area but not excessive. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming.

My one slight negative, and it's a weird one, for whatever reason, during our stay, it never looked very busy. Both times we visited there were only a few other people there, at one point it was just us. I'm not sure why this is. Maybe people are put of because they sometimes run wedding venues? Maybe people are put off by the quietness?

Honestly though the food here is delicious so if you don't mind a slightly quieter atmosphere on the edge of the harbour, definitely pay them a visit when in...

We were drawn to this place by the very stylish building & great setting. But as soon as we sat down we were getting daggers from the waiter who clearly had an attitude problem. The rude waiter eventually came to us & asked what we wanted. We asked for a drinks menu, but he bluntly replied "No.". We then asked whether they do cocktails, but he bluntly replied "No.". We then asked for a hot chocolate, but he bluntly replied "No.". Lastly we asked for cava & he just stared at us... This was the point we just had to walk away. I would like to point out that there were also people at other tables drinking, so it's not as it they didn't sell drinks.
