The Galeria Bar — Restaurant in Yaiza

Nice little bar overlooking the marina, the first night we went in the service from bar staff was good and the drinks were a decent measure (Southern Comfort), however on our second visit the night after we sat for awhile before i got up and went to the bar myself then on finishing our drinks the bar staff continued to serve everyone else at there table other than our table, after waiting over 10-15 minutes to be served i approached the bar for the bill and told them as to why we was leaving..... because of the bad service. I wish could reply /dispute the review below regarding rude staff etc etc. I was in the bar when this reviewer with two of her friends arrived. They were not wearing masks as required by canarian regulations and were asked to do so by the staff. Within my hearing staff were very polite but we could already sense trouble. The ladies were very upset not to be able to pay by card, even though it was clearly advertised cash only (and has always been). The parting shot from the ladies of 'I hope you all get covid' says it all. I have reported the review and hope it gets taken down. I also hope i never see that behavior or have to write a refuting...

My mother and father used to spend February in lanzarote in the apartment next door. They loved it and always spoke of the brilliant nights they had there. Sadly, my father passed away three years ago, and my mother didn't want to renew her passport. My brother and I, along with my wife, convinced her to renew her passport and spent a week in the Tropical Beach hotel so she could spend some quality time checking out her old haunts.
