Read moreUp to this date it is such a shock the experience I had at Mays table, so I thought of sharing it. I selected this place myself in September 2024 to have my birthday dinner as I loved the ambiance and the vibe there. Frankly I went there the previous week to check on the place and yes it was up to my expectations. We got a table for two next to the window. All tables had flowers for decorations but ours had not. When I politely asked, the well built man who was serving said I have already brought a flower bunch with me so there’s no need of table decos. We ordered a mixed appetizer platter, a pineapple rice, a prawn curry and two drinks. For the dessert we got coconut ice cream and mango sticky rice. Except the prawn curry which was mixed with wild eggplant(thibbatu) which I don’t like, we loved the food. For a person who admires beauty, the food was so beautiful. As I took pictures of the dishes, the person who served came several times to tell that I’m just taking pictures and not enjoying the food. I told him to take it as a compliment but it was so annoying. When I had some leftovers because of the prawn curry he told me again see now your husband has enjoyed the food but you were just taking pictures. At the time my husband called for the reservation they had promised to provide a small cake for the table but they didn’t. When he asked while we came out they said they just forgot. That’s how they ruined everything for me. If they don’t want us to take pictures of the food at least put up a board for it. I’m surprised why they have so many...

Tried out May's Table recently, hoping for a good Thai food experience, but honestly, it was quite disappointing overall.
The place looks fancy and has a nice vibe, but that’s really where the positives end. We were given a “spicy ambarella shot” at the start, which was more confusing than enjoyable.
Food-wise, the green Thai curry with steamed rice was actually pretty decent — I’d give it a solid 9/10, and the pomelo salad was fresh and flavorful, definitely a 10/10. But then things started to go downhill…
We ordered mango sticky rice, but it came without the sticky rice — just mango and cream, which makes no sense. The staff seemed to be in a hurry to close up, and we felt rushed the whole time. Plates were cleared even before some of us finished eating, and the whole atmosphere was just too loud and chaotic, with tables packed too close together. Not a comfortable dining experience at all.
Tried the coconut ice cream too — it was okay, I’d say 7/10, nothing special.
Overall, this turned out to be one of the worst Thai dining experiences we’ve had — 2/10 for the experience. Definitely expected better from a place that presents...
