Ocean Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Colombo

I had the pleasure of visiting Ocean Bar & Grill at Marino Beach with four colleagues on a Monday for lunch, and it turned out to be a delightful experience.

The service we received was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring our needs were met promptly. The friendly and accommodating atmosphere added to the overall positive vibe of the place.

The setting at Ocean Bar & Grill is truly captivating, offering a choice between indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for the indoor seating.

Speaking of the meal, the food was nothing short of excellent. We tried a variety of dishes, including the Caramelised Onion Soup, Iced Peach Tea, Chocolate Milkshake, Seafood Fusilli, Prawn Spaghetti, and Four Cheese Pasta. The attention to detail in preparation was evident, and the presentation was equally impressive.

Having been a solo traveller saying at Marino Beach Hotel I tried here on my first night. It is clear that the current climate is affecting the footfall at this restaurant as i was one of only four parties for the duration that evening. Food & Drink; I had the Chicken Skewers and a pineapple juice. Both of which i cannot fault a they were tasty and value for money. Service; the wait staff were attentive for most part but at times i did have to ask for service. This i partially put down to them not wishing to come across as overbearing given how few people there were dining. Nice outdoor sitting area on the 8th floor of the Marino Mall and accessible from Marino Beach Colombo. The food is not bad but not fantastic. Our favourites were the curry fried calamari, fried chicken wings, seafood linguine and spaghetti prawn. Warning - the pasta had cream, so unsuitable for lactose intolerant individuals.
