My recent order for a Chicken Masala Kothu from Acropol restaurant through Uber left me utterly disappointed. I had high hopes for a delicious meal, but unfortunately, what I received was far from satisfactory.

Firstly, the portion size was quite small, and the price I paid (LKR 1859.00) seemed unjustified. I could have easily enjoyed a more generous and better-tasting meal at a nearby place like New Bee Be Hotel in Kollupitiya.

The Chicken Masala Kothu I received lacked the flavorful chicken pieces I expected. Instead, I struggled to find chicken bones hidden within the dish. It was truly disheartening to experience such a letdown, especially when I was looking forward to a fulfilling kothu.

The overall quality of the dish was quite poor, with the roti being poorly chopped and mixed with a mediocre curry and eggs. It felt like something a beginner cook might have prepared, far from the tasty and hearty kothu I had in mind.

As customers, we all deserve equal treatment, regardless of how we place our orders—whether online through Uber or PickMe or by visiting the restaurant in person. Our needs and expectations remain the same.

I sincerely hope that Acropol takes this feedback into account and makes improvements to their dishes and overall dining experience. It's crucial to value every customer and provide the service they deserve, regardless of how they choose to order.

In conclusion, I regret to say that based on my experience, I cannot recommend Acropol restaurant. I believe there is room for enhancement, and I encourage them to work on providing better service and quality food to all...

For the longest part of my life eversince my youngest years Acropol has been the go to place in terms going for a quick bite! It’s only in the recent years where my attendance has narrowed down to once in a blue moon sort of thing…however Thursday the 11th of Sept was the visit where Acropol grabbed my attention in style. When will we were busy enjoying our meal it wasn’t till the latter part where I just realized omg my order of the Beef Shawarma hadn’t gone through and that was exactly when I was negotiating with few of the staff was when Superstar. 🌟🌟AASHIK🌟🌟 came into the rescue and said ‘so sorry sir’, won’t be long’ and low n behold it didn’t take long even the least bit. The Man the myth the legend Aashik ended up saving the day! Bless him! Us as the YASEEN family of Sri-Lanka have had the privilege of visiting the greatest restaurants islandwide and being on their list of VIP’s this gentlemen ended up giving us service not even Shangri-La, ITC, Hilton, K’bury, Sofia, Amari, Taj, nor Cinnamon life could ever give…as Australian citizens it was indeed a Blessing to have witnessed such great work ethic here in Sri-Lanka despite it being the motherland. This man is a lottery to ACROPOL, people like him can only boost this the dignity to neverending scyrocketing position. Pls keep him treasured as mom dad and I all agree that he is an asset and we all humbly request that he gets promoted to the maximum level possible!
