Finally Tried Lamprais in Colombo – Totally Worth the Hype!
After several attempts to try the much-recommended lamprais in Colombo, I finally succeeded! Most places I tried either didn’t have it or it was sold out by the time I arrived. Thankfully, I found The Leaf, a takeaway-only outlet (which I didn’t realize until I reached 😅).
The good news? They still had a few chicken lamprais left! Since this dish requires advance preparation a day before, most restaurants make it in the morning, and it sells out fast. We grabbed what was available and enjoyed it back at the hotel, without even reheating it—and it was absolutely delicious!
