Atmosphere: Bomb! Food: Good! Good for groups: Excellent! Price: Slightly Expensive Overall: Great place! Go, go, go!

Atmosphere: Stone Mad Pub is a wonderful place to take a date or to go with a group of friends. When you first walk in,, you are invited to an open floor/stand up bar which was being used for a large party of about 25 people.

The next room is one of the main seating areas, very dark but also had a fireplace to help light the room. The atmosphere was much more rustic than I expected, but I enjoyed it!

The back room is much brighter with large windows to illuminate the room with natural light. This is also the room where they have a bocce court which is really fun! (The court is a little too fast for the balls used but makes it for a fun/competitive experience.)

Food: I went with a group and we started off with the Chicken Paprikash Dip as a starter. Fantastic! Packed with flavor and similar to buffalo chicken dip.

I ordered the Irish Burger since the Stone Mad Burger was so expensive to add all of the additional. It had a huge patty and fresh ingredients but I was shocked at how tasteless the beef was. It was still good, but almost tasted like there was absolutely no seasoning or marinade put in it.

The Stone Mad Fries needed a little more salt but that was an easy fix.

My date ordered the four cheese pizza and had the same feedback. Good, but seemed like it was missing something.

Overall: I had a blast. The place sparked great conversation and the beer list was really good. Not to mention the Stone Patio and Bocce court that would make this place a must try during the spring/summer.

FIRST time visit...I thought I was in Bedrock and looking for the Flintstones...I found JOE behind the bar, he is the bedrock of the very beautiful & aesthetic building. Great drinks, superb Pizza and a return visit scheduled. Discover the Bocci court, specials and Summer at Stone Mad, you will be Stone Glad you did. Raymond. *Another impromptu * visit to Stone Mad Pub on Saturday February 19, 2022. The first 2 gentlemen I encountered were sporting fresh , all in place and groomed haircuts..clean shaven..scrubbed clean hands and manicured nails..starched and pressed white shirts with tie and tie-tack..and also a pressed clean over garment..and we're smiling and engaging everyone. They were NOT Doctors but The Barkeeps Joe and Jimmy who perform their duties with surgical precision and skill no matter what the request.. These 2 are the Bedrock of Stone Mad Pub along with the fairly priced ample portioned menu, and the other as important serving staff and employees. St. Patrick's Day..Dyngus Day.. Any reason to go Stone Mad They DO NOT take you for GRANITE!!....

I hate having to write this review because my wedding rehearsal dinner was here 7 years ago but I can't believe two experiences I've had since. One time was two years ago, a customer had a medical emergency in front of us and it was very disturbing. Not only was our server not friendly she was downright rude the entire time before and after. I was sober and pregnant and appalled by her behavior. The second experience was today. We popped in on a Saturday with our young children to show them our rehearsal dinner spot. Apparently there was a private event happening (we never saw a sign). There was a woman up front decorating witnessed us walk in to get a table and heard my children speaking she couldn't even look up to tell us they were closed. Instead a man came up and told us they were closed as we tried to sit on the patio with our very hungry 3 & 6 year old. Sadly, I will avoid coming here now.
