BodyBuddy Café Masthuggskajen — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

I was so happy when I found a place in Gothenburg that makes a good smoothie bowl (called Bali Bowl, with a lovely mango flavor). Sadly it has now been replaced with the Green Restart, which contains avocado, moringa etc so it has a totally different taste profile. Please bring back the Bali Bowl and I will happily raise the number of stars in my review and resume to recommend people to visit you.

Another suggestion: The smoothie bowl is never part of the lunch offer, which is fine, but it feels weird to pay more for the smoothie bowl and a coffee (since coffee is not included with the bowl) and still not get a stamp on the lunch loyalty card. May I suggest that all meals bought during lunch (over a certain price if desired) are equally eligible for a stamp the lunch loyalty card?

This place has my heart. When you don’t want to compromise on health aspects and still want to eat delicious and lip smacking food then come to Bodybuddy.

They mean the name of their restaurant. My body loved the food and so did my tongue and palate.

So me and my partner are vegan and they ensured that lactose free and dairy free dishes are equally fun, tasty, and interesting.

Items we ordered were: Weekend Special Daal bowl (must try. Being Indian i would say they have nailed it by playing with flavors) Mango Avocade Vegan Cheese bowl(amazing basil dressing and coconut cheese was the best) Quinoa porridge (yum compote, and almond butter was soo homie) Vegan carrot cake with cream cheese (i would eat them all time guilt free)

The Stockholm-based chain BodyBuddy made it’s entrance in Gothenburg. Located still around a construction area, the insides are what matters. When you look past the metropolitan look, you can find plenty of great vegan options such as Smoothie Bowls, Avocado Knäcke, Oats, Porridge and more. And on top of that also plenty of fully vegan sweets. It’s a little breakfast paradise. The quality of the ingredients is top notch and all that while the price-point is rather affordable. Only downside is that it’s not open on Sundays for a lazy breakfast, but it is what it is.
