Miss Miso — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

This new place just opened today and I visited it with my girlfriend. We both had a fantastic experience. I kicked things off with the ”Miso Old Fashioned” salty, and unique in flavor, really cool drink. I went for the sake for the rest of the dishes, and it was really good.

The beef tartare had a great balance and really pleasant flavors. The dumplings were creative, with flavors that paired well with the avocado heat. The Katsu was a bit doughy, but still tasty, especially with the sauce that brought back memories of Japan.

The real standout was the KFC. Both of us absolutely loved it, it is apparently a bit of a legendary dish for them, and I can see why. The chicken was incredibly crispy with just the right amount of heat, absolutely spot on!

The cod was beautifully presented, and I really enjoyed it, although my girlfriend was not as impressed. The pineapple dessert was delightful. Also, do not miss the Pluma and A5 they were both fantastic!

Overall, we loved Miss Miso. The staff was a bit slow at times, especially with refills and in the beginning, but that is totally understandable on their first day. It is exciting to have a new Asian restaurant like this in Gothenburg and I really enjoyed our visit and will definitely come...

Brilliant amazing food. Certain dishes takes you right back to Vietnam, Taiwan or China flavors with one bite. Surprising flavors and innovative combinations on a few. I can not understate how hard it is to find these kind of flavors In Gothenburg. Five stars for the food easy. Service was fast, relaxed and not snobby at all. No changing of the plates or “cutlery “, no folding the napkins, just fast lovely and attentive. We’ve Ben to project as well but we’ll definitely be back...

It is a tiny restaurant but well-organised. It is a Asian fusion restaurant with mixed culinary traditions from different Asian countries, creating unique and innovative dishes. We tried 9 different dishes and were amazed by their quality. Try chicken skewers, definitely delicious and same about chicken dumplings. Wagyu meat dish definitely recommends.
