It’s a lovely street that goes through a daily transformation between one of the calmer (but interesting) shopping areas and culture centers in the day and the very core of Gothenburg entertainment at night. At one end is the concert hall, city theatre, main art museum and numerous other theatre/show type venues, at the other end are the nightclubs and dance halls that stay open until 5am with intersections of the pathways leading in from the major sports arenas along the way.

Very nice place, a must see if you go to Gothenburg, nice buildings around the street, nice atmosphere, lots of restaurants and shops. The street ends with a very representative place in Gothenburg - Götaplatsen - with the Poseidon fountain, museums, the city library and a concert hall.
