Slice is a ping pong bar that serves drinks and food. You can rent a table for your group and order food/drinks at the table. It’s a fun concept, but there were several things we didn’t like about our experience. First, the food. The pizza was quite bad. Though the ingredients were ok, everything (especially the crust) had a cheap “Dominos” style to it. My friend ordered the brisket and it consisted of a single piece of dry brisket placed on a hot dog bun with some pickled cabbage on top. Second, the beer selection is bad and too expensive. At least have a decent beer on tap like Mariestads if you’re going for cheap. My husband saw a ton of dust on and around the ping pong tables. We also felt that they were placed too close together. Additionally, the lighting was a bit harsh for it being a bar. Instead of focusing on being a fancy looking club with a DJ, these basic things should be attended to first - cleanliness, food quality, and drink selection. The service was pretty good and the bathroom had a cool design. It would also be nice if there was an elevator given that there are several floors to climb, but that’s not always feasible. Also, it must be a nightmare locating all those ping pong balls each night, flying over the railing and ending up everywhere. I’m not sure having ping pong on multiple floors is the best idea. I think this concept could be a success with some...
Read moreI suppose if there’s nowhere else to support drag culture in Gothenburg this is truly a good place to go, but otherwise it was okay food, although it should never have taken more than a couple hours. They sing throwback 2000s jams and have a lovely show of two people doing aerobatics. It’s mostly for older people, mostly 50 something from what I’ve heard and seen. Lucky to have any kind of “burlesqueish” performance in Gothenburg! The seating feels a lot like a crowded...
Read moreI would say: good atmosphere but 500kr per person for "all you can eat pizza and ping pong" as a company event is not worth it with 10 pizzas (and 1,5h waiting time for a gluten-free pizza). Good pace but should definitely been cheaper for the service we got on food. Ping pong was fine, not much to say about it but the food (and given the price for it) was not worth it. Also, the reviews on this place is for an older place, there is no shows and glory. It's a ping pong...
