Fröken Olssons Kafé — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Frozen Olssons is quite a dichotomy, on one hand it's a cute cafe with some yummy fresh treats, on the other hand they served the most inedible, old pie I've ever tasted.

I got a tasty cardamom bun and tea. They use TEArs brand tea which is a local brand but unfortunately one of my least favorites . My bun was fine, in fact it was on the fresher side. My partner got a slice of pie and a juice. He usually inhales a slice of pie, but I noticed he was mostly just pushing it around his plate. He told me it tasted bad, so I had a taste and I had to spit it out! It was absolutely rancid, it was such a concentrated taste of freezer burn. I just can't believe that a cafe would serve it. I’ve been there many times but it’s really frustrating that it’s always so messy and dirty everywhere. Toilet paper all over the place and even outside the toilets. Urine all over the toilets and you just get wet. All the dishes and cutlery that just move from one place to another. Just two people working there can’t take care of the whole place. They’re still trying to be happy but they’re obviously not enough. Scrolling through the online reviews I see that there are comments since two months ago that we’ve been promised that they would improve that. Har tidigare gett fyra stjärnor. Brukade vara ett favoritställe. Men ändrar nu till en stjärna. Kommer nog inte gå dit igen. Blev oerhört otrevligt bemött utan anledning . Sällan träffat på så dåligt serviceminded personal! Speciellt en av tjejerna som både höjde rösten åt mig, fnös och himlade med ögonen.. Det var stökigt och rörigt och fullt av disk på borden. Jag lyckades hitta ett ledigt bord...dock överfullt av disk.. Så jag plockade hjälpsamt ihop allt i en hög vid kanten av bordet. En i personalen sopade upp lite glas precis intill så jag sa på ett glatt trevligt sätt att hon väldigt gärna fick ta disken sen för den är inte vår. Varpå hon fräser och nästan skriker åt mig "Inte Nu!!!" Oops! Sa jag...nej jag sa inte "nu".. Jag blev helt paff av det oväntade bemötandet! Det förväntade svaret borde väl varit tex "Absolut, om ett ögonblick bara!" Eller liknande. Så småningom kom hon och jag tänkte vara överseende och förstående...Så jag sa vänligt och förstående . " Så mycket för er nu..stressigt.." Varpå hon fnyser åt mig och tittar på mig surt som om jag är dum-i-huvudet och undrar med tyken tonårston vad jag menar med det?! Jag förtydligade vänligt att det verkar vara stressigt för dom idag med så mycket folk.. Hon svarar något i stl med "och " " vad menar du?!" Med otrevlig ton och himlar med ögonen samtidigt som hon går stöddigt vidare med sur min... "Herregud!," kände jag då. En personal i servicebranchen lyckade ta rekord i dåligt bemötande TVÅ gånger på ett besök! Utöver det var toaletten ruskigt ofräsch, riktigt äcklig.

Så Fröken Olsdons må vara ett nostalgiskt fd favoritcafeer....Men inte längre... Det gått...
