Trädgården - Restaurang & Bar — Restaurant in Lund Municipality

I'm from Minnesota visiting Sweden for the very first time. If Tradgarden in Lund is the kind of culinary experience to be expected during my visit, it will be a great trip! The menu was perfectly balanced with something for everyone while the food was top notch. The atmosphere perfect. The wine menu leaves no one wanting something else. And then there was the food... I had Rooster Meatballs with lingonberries while my friend had the pickled herring entree. My dish was superb in every respect... presentation, taste... but I have to give a BIG shout-out to the chef for the herring entree. It went above and beyond excellence and was something one would expect at a Michelin Star restaurant. The herring was presented three ways, smoked, spiced and traditional with each one outstanding. This was presented with accompanying sauces and sides in what was a symphony of absolute pleasure to the eyes, nose and mouth. Kudos to the chef! They did great job with renovation. We have been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks for lunch. There is a beautiful backyard, you are in the city center but you don't feel all the chaos of the street. It is calm & nice. Perfect place for summer meets up!

The food was great every time, I really like the idea of sharing quarterly menu! Such a brilliant idea for lunch dates.

We tried schnitzel, fish & chicken dishes. Each time, they were all good, specifically fish dishes are kind of special I must say! Good parking options close by.

Staff was very helpful & kind. Lunch is till to 3 pm, if you want to skip rush hours.

We only missed the changing table for our infant. Other than that...

We went to the city of Lund within our vacation and wanted to have lunch so I looked for something 'swedish' just by the name and so we found this precious. The interior is very nice and beautiful. The waiter guided us to a table we chose and after I mentioned that we're Germans looking for something 'typical swedish' to eat, she translated the menu card for us so we can make a decision.
