Sushi ordered home: it's OK. 6/10. Not special, should probably be a bit cheaper.
My friend thought it was a bit pricey, and I have to agree for the area. I would prefer it maybe 30 sek less per meal. But! The portions are very generous. I opted for" 4 small courses" (fyra små rätter") because I wanted something warm and cozy, like a stew, but Im sensitive to curry so couldn't have too much. Not a general fan of spring rolls so didn't love them, but they were okay. The shrimp looked cool, but unfortunately was the least tasty thing. The stew was great! Loved it!
The staff was very nice, the fellow customers not so much. If they are regulars I wouldn't want to go there often. One was impatient and had brought a kid, and another one took a phone call(! We all know you do NOT make phonecards inside of a restaurant). Then a stable stream of foodora riders came and left (it seems people must get their food from foodora super quick), but it really pulls down the coziness factor of a restaurant. So going out for my B-day this year was a bit disappointing. Next year I will try a place that does not have foodora/ uber eats etc. Oh, and also there was a dude who probably works there and came to deliver food (boxes of shrimp etc), and left the door open between the rounds to his car when jt was minus degrees outside. My company sat with the back to the door and was freezing!!
There will be a next time. I like this places food after all. But I would order home and Maybe stick to the dishes under 130sek, just so it feels worth it (luckily they have several ).
Also slightly unsure of this place is Bangkok Thai or...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I had a late lunch here yesterday. We ate duck red curry and green curry with shrimps. We were served by a friendly waitress who offered us a whole small pot of rice to share between us. We cleaned up every bit of it. The rice was cooked perfectly, important to me who is Asian.
The duck curry (175kr) was the best that I’ve had in Sweden so far. My bf really enjoyed it too.
We had some cold beers to accompany our meal, Mariestad and Asahi.
Normally I would do takeout during lunch because they’re really busy as they offer 99kr lunch menu. But even with ala carte options, they’re well affordable and delicious. There are Vietnamese food, Thai food and Japanese food, all in the same restaurant. Many vegetarian options as well.
We...
Read moreI often follow google reviews in making restaurant selection, with that said, I wouldn't go for the place. However, found someone in restaurant review forum recommending it, so I decided to give it a chance. After 3 takeaway try out, I came to leave this review as we really enjoy the food and think it definitely deserves better scores. We have tried both Thai and Vietnam dishes. All super tasty, generous potions and very good price, fast service ( I pick up myself, the food is always ready when I arrive.) Annka Curry, Bun - bo xao, Bo - xao cai, Pad Thai, Spicy Basil Pork. My favorite would be Annka Curry, Pad Thai. Give it a chance if you haven't tried. I think it won't...
