Kappa Bar — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

Been more then a few time to this place. And for thoes that has not. To explain it is that it is a sports bar. But not for the physical kind. Instead, videogames. You can either watch the many screens when profesionals play, which is always a treat especially in big important matches and games. And if one wants to play, they have gaming consols one can play on at while there, with a good selection of multiplayer and party games. Pc is also avaleble if one wants to go at it a little harder. It's quite the roudy place, ofthen lots of people so keep that in mind, and if you wabt to be sure to get a table on the weekend I sugest to book in advance. As for food and drink, its a bit on the prisy side and why I dont vissit to regularly. But its good food, if a bitt small in divercity. Burgurs and pizza. With empathis on the first. The drink menu is a bitt larger but on the sour side. (though they can make things of menu) what gives it an exta point in my book is that they have a new burger, drink and shake every month, ofthen quite interesting stuff. Oh, and shakes can be served with booze in, my pick if I wanna go sweet. They have quizz twise a week and sometimes other events. So thing tend to feel fresh every time with the options of games and whats on tv. Again, a sports bar, best enyoied in company, and not for a quiet...

We went for the friends quiz and food for a friends birthday and whilst the food was alright, the quiz was fun and the majority of the staff were great, the “manager” was incredibly rude and difficult. We had taken a birthday cake with us for my friend and as we went in, I checked with the bar staff if we could keep the cake in the fridge with them for us to eat after our meal and they were very helpful and accommodating. After all 6 of us ordered and ate our dinner and drinks, we went to ask for the birthday cake and after they kindly handed it over, we sat at the table ready to eat it. Suddenly another staff member came over and rather rudely said “you can’t eat that here”. When asked for alternatives (can we pay to eat it here? Can we also order desserts (of which there were only 2 choices)) we were abruptly told no. He even said that “his staff member” shouldn’t have allowed it and that he would know as he is “the boss”. Bar itself looks really nice and clean (just opened so it's normal) The staff is very nice and friendly Quiz nights (Thursdays) are welcome and they do have them in english Cocktails are good and are game-themed. Also good selection of beers (not too big though).

Cons: food is incredibly mediocre and overpriced. Eat beforehand and avoid! We tried most of the menu and I've heard no positive mentions When the place gets a bit busy, avoid ordering at the table. There were enough mix-ups with orders and one of our colleagues ended up paying roughly 100 euros extra. They were nice the next day and refunded all the items that were extra on the bill.

Overall it's my favorite bar to go to right now.
