We had a nice experience visning Laziza. Not usually eating libanese food it was a different experience for me. But I wanted to try their lunch buffet they have between 11:00-15:00 on weekdays for 135kr.
We reserved a table not knowing how busy it was going to get. Reserving a table is quite smooth process. As we entered we got a nice welcome from the staff. I was surprised how big the restaurant wason the inside. It was quite busy but they still had plenty of table available. Closer to 13 it got busier.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food there was to chose from. My plate ended up being very full and very colorful from all kind of foods. And since there was lots of people there they continuously topped up and added fresh foods. Which was very nice. I also liked their spicy sause which was a bit spicy indeed (in a good way). And their ice cold tap water.
I ended up liking most things that was presented. Highlight was the meat in the stew and the kebab meat with a nice sause and flatbread. Toilet was clean as well. Although, I only saw one available so if there is a lot of people waiting it might take a while.
It wasn't tll loud inside even though it was quite packed which was nice. And they had a couple of tables for outdoor serving.
What ai felt was missing was any type of dessert. That would have made it even better. Especially since they had coffee available. It would have rounded off a very nice meal. My friend also bit on something hard which was a piece of olive seed still left in a olive. Luckily it was fine but be a bit careful. And it would have been even better if you could take a new plate. I got one that we used the entire time which was fine, but possibly getting a new one would have been nice.
Overall, it was a good lunch buffet for the money. I recomend visiting the place if you want to try some...
Read moreGood middle eastern meze buffet. Especially the falafel was one of the better i have had in Sweden, despite being a buffet. There are nice home made "warak enab" (Stuffed wine leaves), Tabouleh, baba ghanouche, hummus among other classic cold mezes and they all tasted well.
The warm food however is another story and did not meet any expectations at all. But If you are a fan of COLD meze this is the place for you.
Somehow it feels a bit dirty that you MUST use the same plate always instead of being able to take a new plate when taking another round at the buffet. I think the logistics around this can be solved in a better way.
I reacted a bit on the way the staff talks to customers as I overheard a conversation where a lady asked If she could have a new plate. She was met with the answer that "it is OK but do not expect it next time." I also heard staff lessoning a customer for not removing their tray from the table upon finishing their meals. At the same time the staff also highlighted for the customers sitting next to the previous mentioned ones that they must not forget to take the trays with them upon finishing!
I understand that human coworkers can have a bad day where you feel fed up with customers, but if you work in the service sector you must be able to hold this back. If it was my restaurant I would not want my coworkers to make any customer feel unwelcome, even if they happen to be a bit demanding. Sometimes its better to just keep quiet even if customers are not behaving as expected. After all, these people are paying your salaries at the end of the day, and truth is that nobody chases you at McDonalds if you do forget to return your tray.

Read moreIt is ok, but i don't like the fact that they ask you to pay in front, the moment you get in the restaurant. Normally I think you have to check the menu and the prices first, even if it is buffet you should get the possibilty to see what you get to eat and than decide if you would like to dine in or not, or maybe after you get to taste some of the food and see that you don't like it to have the option to refuse the payment. We got to pay 800kr in front, me my wife and 2kids 5year and 10year, the 10year said that he doesn't like what he sees and doesn't want to eat there, the little one said the he only wants some slice's of pineapple, so for this you get to pay 240kr and 80kr, which I think is not ok because even if you ask for a refund the personal will not be very glad about it and the already taken money from your card you will get it back only after 7days, so you will get to be the one without food in your belly and without money in your account. Until they will change their welcome customer system i will NOT recommend this place! Take care and find only good restaurants where you feel yourself respected because you are the...
