A Swedish interpretation of Chinese food. Not a good place for people without tolerance on spiciness 🌶️. The lightest dish like tofu skin salad still has spicy taste, even though there’s no chili ingredients written on menu. And the salad has the smallest portion you can imagine even as an appetizer / side dish.
We ordered two pork baos, one with chili sauce and the other without. It tastes quite weird because no sauce was in there without chili, no soy sauce or other alternatives. Pork was also super mild almost without any flavour, a piece of belly meat which contains quite a proportion of fat.
The dumplings are not rich in flavour either. The different ingredients in fillings are also quite loose, not well combined together.
However the service and atmosphere are quite nice. It gives a feel of having an afternoon tea with dumplings and baos, not a proper...
Read moreOverall good location and vibes. Food was quite disappointing though, for both the portion and taste. We got the beef and kimchi dumplings, shrimp wontons, and cucumber salad. Beef and kimchi dumplings were kind of like soup dumplings, but they didn't have spoons so they just kind of spilled all the broth. The dumpling wrap was quite nice but the filling was not very flavorful. Shrimp wontons were the best, but was a tiny portion. I think this is a take on the Chinese red oil wontons, but the sauce missed the mark. The filling was nice though with big pieces of shrimp. The cucumber salad was a real disappointment. It should be really cheap and easy to make, with big slabs of crushed cucumbers and lots of garlic. But they chose to slice the cucumber in tiny slivers and serve a stingy portion. Get this right, and I think this could be an easy...

The rest of the meal—duck and beef/kimchi dumplings, popcorn chicken, plus pork and fish baos—was decent but nothing that truly stood out. Dessert brought things back up: both the caramelised ginger ice cream and the yuzu sorbet were genuinely delicious.
Bottom line: Nice place, good atmosphere, but the food is just okay—and Malmö definitely has stronger options if you’re after standout...
