Agnes — Restaurant in Stockholm

This place has the best crispy roasted pork in Stockholm. The pork skin’s fat was totally reduced and left a golden crispy layer outside of the meat. Underneath this perfect skin layer the juicy meat was hidden. The meat was so soft that it fell off the bones easily, yet still remained the texture of pork. However, the side dishes that came with the pork was way too salty. Me and my friend could only take one bite each on the sides. It was pitiful to have a perfect main dish served with extremely salty sides. The starter we had was deep fried squid with long beans. The deep fry made both the squid and beans tender and chewy in texture, and the spices usage complimented the materials as well. However, again if the dish was less salty, we could enjoy more. The lavender and lemon infused crème brûlée was a great creation. I’m always a big fan of eating flower flavored food and this was really to my satisfaction. I would definitely want to come back and try more dishes of theirs, if they could make...

Went there for dinner on Valentines. Mostly very good service and the first dishes were fabulous. Somewhere half way through our timed dinner (time at the table was limited and our nanny was on a busy schedule) they forgot about us. Our last dish was finally served after asking for it several times - lukewarm. Then there was suddenly no time for dessert and they cleaned off our drinks before we were both finished. At least the to the last dish of the bill but they could have spared me the excuse that it took long to prepare since I saw them doing that when we arrived at the place.

Still i will go back. Food was really good andI hope it was just a miss in the handover...

We had a great time at Agnes! It is located in the city. It is possible to seat both inside and outside during summer. We were welcomed at the entrance door and placed at our table. The staff were super friendly and came to check us from time to time. The menu was explained to us in every detail.

We ordered several small foods with a glass of red wine. The suggestion of wine came from them. It was a great selection. The food taste excellent and we were surprised by the high quality and different tastes. The desserts were amazing as well.
