Maxos — Restaurant in Stockholm

The food is excellent, I had the loaded Pakistani Wedding rice, and Oh! is we delightful.

We stayed till near closing. The owner was so kind to everyone! When the sign flipped he sent his staff home so they could get some rest and he cleaned and closed on his own.

When I asked for a to-go box to take my leftovers, he returned with 3 to go boxes full of the day's remainder. I'm not up on my high horse about free food and welcomed the delicious gift. It was enough for myself and 2 mates at lunch the next day!

My first experience with Palestinian food and I am glad that I try Maxos. I ordered lamm on the plate for 145sek and it's a feast on my plate. I am not really sure how to eat it right but it was good and fulfilling. Worth the price! I got 1pc baklava for 20sek and it was fine. There's several sauces on the table but the chilli sauce is nothing for my south-east asian tongue. The sitting place is not really appealing but it does the work. For antisocial people, you can order outside the door so you don't have to talk...

What to say … the food is AMAZING ! The falafel tastes so good. So fresh. I took one with halloumi and same the halloumi tasted so fresh. For now, the best falafel I had are these one. And the sauce they make… you will definitely find the one you like better or like me you will like all of them. The place definitely does not look like a fancy place. But you have what you need. And it s clean and well taken care of. The staff is also so sweet and friendly making sur everything is ok. Totally recommend this...
