Upon paying for my two fish and chips and a beverage after looking at the menu, I realized that I got upcharged almost 2x the price on the beverage. The non-serviceminded cashier told us that her boss hadn't updated the menu to show the current prices. 20 -> 35 SEK for a 33 cl Fanta? The funny thing is that, while waiting for the food, the cashier comes out to tell us that they don't have it in stock, so we received a cola instead. It wouldn't be a problem if they were friendly about it, as they were quite the opposite. Charging more than the listed price on the menu is very much illegal under Swedish consumer law. No, we didn’t get our money back. Also, we arrived 1 hour before closing and weren't allowed to dine in. Had to do take-away and sit in the park nearby. As for the food, the fish n chips were good but not amazing. Soggy fries. Wouldn't really want to go there again. Edit: Replying to your answer, I did in fact get charged 35 for the drink and both have the bank statement and receipt to prove it. Thanks for your reply, but wordplay won't work. I should've gotten my money back. The menu stated 20 for the drink and you charged me 35 for it. I want to clarify that the menu clearly stated "Take away" as well, which we did do. So we got upcharged. The menu said 20, we had to pay 35. That's 15 higher.

A great value of money place. In Stockholm, the places that offer better seafood than this one are more expensive, the places that are cheaper than this one have way worse atmosphere. For this price range, it is definitely the best seafood place in town. The grilled perch was tender and the minimal seasoning brought out the umami of the fish. The deep fried prawns were firm in texture and crispy with thin coatings. The fish tacos were not bad either, although I had better ones in town, but they were way more expensive. The chef maximized the usage of butter, you could taste the aroma of butter in the fries, and together with the dill on top, the fries didn’t taste that heavy, which was to my liking. The environment was cosy and elegant, with comfortable chairs, and it was not noisy at all even though they had a full house. The only issue we had was that we waited for almost an hour to get the food, it seemed that due to summer vacation season, they were lack of staff.

The food was pretty good, but the rest of the experience wasn't great. The person who took our order, was chewing gum the entire time, with the mouth open. Apparently the person also only spoke English, which in itself isn't a problem, but somehow the person mistook calamari for cider, which they by the way don't sell. The restaurant also had a very strong, pungent smell of frying oil, despite what looked like a very advanced ventilation system in the ceiling. It made it quite unpleasant to sit inside and eat and undertand why the tables out on the sidewalk were packed. We won't be back.

Very slow service. I ordered the tuna carpaccio, which was missing key components - the cauliflower and cheese. When I asked about it, I was told they had changed the dish but hadn’t updated the menu. I have eaten plenty tuna carpaccios and like ordering it as it usually is very tasty. Their tuna carpaccio didn't taste much. I left still feeling hungry despite eating it all. We were three people, and our dishes were served one by one, with around 30 minutes between my fish and the fishsoup, and 15 minutes more for the fish & chips. I tasted the the soup and it was ok. The fish & chips were good, thus the 2 stars. We asked for water, which was forgotten, and only received it after reminding them—just in time for the bill. The atmosphere was not cosy, and overall, I would not recommend this place. Ps. I never bother reviewing restaurant, specially when having bad experiences, but the only reason I visited was because of the good reviews. So I took my time giving my honest experience, as to save someone else from...
