Baras Imperium — Restaurant in Stockholm

I don't usually do reviews but my experience here was so bad I had to leave something. I just moved to Stockholm and I went there on a Friday night with a couple of friends. First of all you can't find a place to sit because it's so crowded so I wouldn't recommend it for someone who would like to sit down have an actual conversation, they also crank the music way up when it gets late but it's a pub without a dancefloor.

The drinks are ridiculously expensive and for something you pay around 200kr for you expect them to be good, but the drink I ordered I've ordered at several bars before and I've mixed myself several times but what I got just tasted of milk and ice. When I asked at the bar to add more Licor 43 in it I watched them basically just water it out with milk and ice. This was my first drink of the night so the only reason I see them doing that is either to save money or they where out of it but still had me pay for the drink at full price. To top it off the second time I went there my bag got stolen and they wouldn't even let me back in to look for it, the next week when it opened again I came in and asked for it but they just said they hadn't seen it and would even ask colleagues about it or take my number if it turned up. I atteneded as part of a friend's birthday and I found the environment very inviting. The food was also excellent and we ate everythong off our plates. Unfortunately, there was a dish that was unavailable and the chef himself came out to explain the sutuation which was very thoughtful and generally uncharacteristic of swedish restaurants.

The drinks were also excellent and fairly priced given the location.

My only misgiving and the reason why this is getting a 4 out of me was the interior design and theme of the restaurant was a bit unclear. This is the worst bar I have been as an African. I received a racist action which was very surprising. I bought a glass of beer in less than 30 minutes a staff called the security guard and told him I am drunk and should leave the bar. I found it very wired and racist. The act is because I was the only colored person in the bar. I guess it is a right wing bar. Anyways lesson learned because there are several bars in Stockholm so it is not worth visiting.
