Medis kök och bar — Restaurant in Stockholm

The place is a stone's throw away from the Medborgarplatsen's station. We were here for a Friday night dinner, and the covered outdoor seating made it a perfect setting for a nice dine-in. There was no waiting when we reached and found a table to our liking quite easily.

We ordered the Risotto al Fungi (vegetarian) and Pepperoni Pizza in the food, and a beer and Irish Kaffe in the drinks. The risotto had a beautiful burrata set in the centre and both the dishes tasted excellent! Loved the drinks as well. The service was prompt but not rushed. The electronic payment didn’t work, and the person behind the bar acted like it was our fault, even though no one could get it to work. Other guests were warned before sitting down, but we weren’t told anything and ended up waiting half an hour before they thought of a solution for the payment. They were unfriendly and offered no real help. When we had to leave to get cash, they insisted we leave our ID behind, something we found neither customer-friendly nor trust-based. While walking around Stockholm, we happened upon this restaurant & bar and glad we stopped in for lunch. Once we figured out how the place operates we ordered our meal and relaxed. We had the Langkokt Oxkind and Kyckling Pasta and some salad. I enjoyed the oxkind and my wife said the pasta a bit on the salty side for her, but we both enjoyed our short time here.
