(Last visited 8/7/2021.) Working about 2.5 hours away in Borlange, Sweden I decided to visit Stockholm for the weekend. It's such a beautiful and walkable city, but, it's time to eat! Here's how it went at Calle P.!

Atmosphere/Appearance: So right outside of the Berns Hotel at the edge of the park is this gem. It's oddly placed, but it kinda makes sense for it to be where it is. You can have a nice meal here then hit the Berns nightclub to party the night away! Part of the restaurant is covered with a glass roof and the other side is completely open. This place has a very open concept with a nice bar and it exudes excellence. I loved the feeling of dining here. The people were beautiful, young, fun, energetic and it was just the place to be on a Saturday night.

Service: I can't remember the name of the 2 servers who took care of me, but they were both awesome. One of them was the bartender who really helped me out since I didn't speak the native language and he made some great recommendations. The young lady who took care of me was very sweet, attentive and she made me feel like I was the only one in the entire restaurant!

Food: I started off with a delicious dirty martini. It was everything I was looking for and even came with bleu cheese olives, my favorite kind. For my appetizer I went with the steak tartar. It was deliciously creamy and soft rare steak served with fried capers, pickled mustard seeds, kataifi dough, onion, celeriac and topped with parmesan cheese. It was so succulent and balanced. For my entrée I opted for the catch of the day. I can't remember what it was exactly, but it was also deliciously cream, flaky, a tad bit sweet and so well seasoned. I don't often opt for fish at restaurants, but this was a fantastic choice.

Value: My steak tartar was 155.00 kr, but that translates to $14.99 in USD. My entrée was $285.00 kr which translates to $27.57 and my martini was 168.00 kr which converts to $16.25. The food was absolutely worth the price. The quality was just so amazing and worth it, but the drink... at $16.25 is up there. Those are New York City prices. Sheesh, but you have to pay to play!

In conclusion, I really enjoyed myself here! I will come back again and again to explore the menu some more, especially since it changes so much. If you're in the area, check this place out before you hit the club!

Definitely not value for money. Expensive and the beef tartar I had was the worse I have been served. Not only tasteless meat, on top a lot of cheese of regular quality. Just a mess in the middle and the presentation was not inspiring. Innovation is good but there are limits. The pommes frites were hard and crispy with a taste of old oil with some kind of factory prepared spices. The others of our group had been served nothing special. Don’t go there for the food! The ambience was spectacular in the middle of a green park. The waitress that attended us was great and did a good job. As a restaurant not to be recommended. Sorry for my...

Unfortunately not impressed. Had the "Grill" lunch. Setting was very nice and food was very tasty, however the service was poor and amount of food for the money was not worth it. For 250 SEK you got half a chicken filé and a merguez sausage, plus potatoes and sallad. To be picky, the chicken and sausage was actually not even grilled, it was fried. Even though there were almost no guests there, it took a very long time place our order, we got our drinks after we revceived our food, etc. All in all, service was not great. If you want to spend 400 SEK on a grill lunch, I would suggest going to Restaurang Grill...

The current rating doesn’t do justice to the quality of the food and service at this restaurant. This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Stockholm. The outdoor terrace is super cozy, with a great atmosphere, and the heaters are a fantastic bonus, especially on chilly evenings. The Mallorcan waitress was attentive and very professional, and all the team is absolutely lovely. As for recommendations, I had the herring as a starter, lamb as the main course, and the almond cake for dessert. Everything was truly delicious, and honestly, I don’t think there’s a wrong choice on the menu. You can’t go wrong here!

Wife and I had a delightful lunch at Calle today- she had a vegetarian dish with chanterelle mushrooms and fried polenta that was elegantly plated and bursting with flavor. Upon our server’s recommendation I had the cod and was pleasantly overwhelmed by the flavors and textures. Easily the best meal we’ve had during our week in Sweden. On a side note it’s a shame some of the petty reviews on here have such an impact on Calle’s overall score. This place is as good as any 4.7 I’ve ever been too yet they only score out as a 4.1 because people are not happy with the music choice? We can do better people
