During my recent travels to Stockholm, I had the pleasure of dining at Vau De Ville, and it was an experience to remember. Nestled in the vibrant heart of the city, this restaurant offers a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy comfort.
From the moment I walked in, the ambiance struck me—chic yet inviting, with an interior that beautifully balances contemporary design with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor seating area was equally appealing, providing a lovely view of the bustling square.
The menu at Vau De Ville is a delightful fusion of classic and innovative dishes, showcasing the best of Scandinavian cuisine with a twist. I started with their smoked salmon, which was fresh and beautifully presented. For the main course, I chose traditional meatballs was fantastic.
The service at Vau De Ville was impeccable. The staff were not only attentive and professional but also genuinely friendly, making me feel right at home. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations that enhanced my dining experience.
Overall, Vau De Ville is a gem in Stockholm’s dining scene. Whether you’re a local or a traveler like me, this restaurant is a must-visit. It promises not just a meal, but a memorable culinary journey. I look forward to...
Read moreThe place is well located, it is a real pity that the manager is impossible!!!!! After one of the staff members showed us to our table and very nicely helped us to organize our seating putting three tables together (for a group of 7) We Gad already ordered drinks and where enjoying them. The manager came to us and made us get up!!! Grandparents and all!!! And said we had to move. It was the day of the final of final of the world cup, that is why we arrived early. The only option she offered was where we could not watch the game.... she brought in her friends and gave them our seats!!!!! She treated me and my family with no concern at all, she did not care that her staff members had seated us there. Or that the options she gave us where away from the TV. We left our drinks standing on a table and left the building. AMAZINGLY BAD THE SERVICE OF THE PLACE!!! Please stay away if you do not want to ruin your trip...

The reason was that this platter is served on a rack, with a small spoon and folk which is hardly helpful in transferring large chunks of salad from a distance of 35 cm onto your plate! And to make matters worse the salad is coated with oil so nothing stays between the spoon and fork while transferring. In addition the huge leaves are just impossible to eat! The tuna was not tender at all and I had problems cutting and chewing it! Will definitely not...
