Funny what passes off as Indian food in Europe. Some people seem to think a curry is just meat dunked in a sauce, they miss the nuance and flavour. We ordered chicken kohlapuri and chicken 65. It was obvious that the chicken was unmarinated, flavourless and identical when separated from the gravy in both the dishes. Adding the chicken to the dish seemed like an after thought. Their menu is a book of lies. Chicken 65 had three chillies next to it and among other spices mentioned green chillies. Instead, it was rather sweet and all that was promised was missing. A sore disappointment for our Sunday cravings. The naans were beyond reproach and the presentation was heartening. As a person who has lived and eaten across India, I wouldn't recommend this place. Read moreI recently dined at this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience was marred by the arrogant behavior of the staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. The servers were dismissive and we had to wait over 15 minutes despite having a reservation. When I asked questions about the menu, their responses were condescending and unhelpful. It's disappointing to have your dining experience soured by staff attitudes. The food may have been decent, but the lack of courtesy and respect from the staff left a lasting negative impression. It literally felt as if the staff was doing a favour on us by...
Read moreA rare 5 stars for an Indian restaurant in Stockholm. You'll probably never find a truly authentic Indian restaurant in Stockholm, but Holy Cow, I feel, gets it very right overall. Plus, as a vegan, it's just really nice to come to a place, open the menu, and find a big section full of vegan dishes. Mind you, there are dishes for omnis, too, which makes this a good place to go in mixed groups. I had the Vegan Madras and it was very tasty and, even better, nicely spicey. The accompanying naan was soft & fluffy. I'd totally come here again. It's central and a great place to go with omni...
