As we came in there and said “table for two,” the waitresses asked if we will be eating. We said yes; she seemed very confused by that. Odd I thought and paid it no attention. The place itself was a clusterf* of all things holiday and kitsch, on steroids, à la fear and loathing; which I appreciate. Bartender plays his aesthetic part as well. I ordered a very overpriced margarita. The margarita was great, yet expensive. Then came the food we ordered: a clam chowder and a chili. All I must say is stay as far away from the food there. It’s insanely overpriced and the clam chowder tasted like a ketchup mayo combo with rotten mussel juice. Firstly, clam chowder isn’t pink. Secondly, it’s made of clams and clam juice, not rotten mussels. It was so bad I didn’t mind paying for it and not eating it. Oh and the...

It has a fun atmosphere. As far as decorations go, I thought it was fine, a nice break from standard bars and places in Sweden. I can see how someone would find it overwhelming but it was good for me. As an american though, I balked a little at prices. But then I remembered this is specialty food in Sweden, but common in the US. Makes sense that cajun food would be more expensive here. I wasn't super adventurous with the menu, but what I had was fine, not the best, not the worst Louisiana style cooking. Basically, if you are an American, this is not going to be just like home, and its going to be a little more expensive. But you're abroad, so it's not their fault. The chowder has tomatoes in it though.

As a bar, it looks like a lot of fun, and I'm down...

A very uniquely decorated bar worthy of visit. We shared Rib Eye and the Chilli, and both were well seasoned and tasty, but the Chilli was the winner. For dessert I took the pecan pie and it was tasty. The service was good, and the atmosphere is a mix with Xmas decorations vs. Halloween and a mix of Shellfish/Kräftskiva. I would give this a solid 5/5, but the drink prices are ridiculously, almost predatory high. I paid 222 SEK for a Margarita that's only with 4 cl booze, I honestly feel a bit ripped off, and that's a feeling I don't like hence the very strong 4/5 score.

A really special cajun bar that, according to my company, has been here forever, and it shows, but that is also part of its charm. The decorations are really over the top extra, and they have a wide selection of food to choose from. Nothing crazy in terms of price, kind of what you would expect, but the cocktails were crazy expensive for some reason. Ok selection of beer and wine, but if you prefer cider this is not the place for you. Accomodating in terms of adjustments to the food to suite allergy and preference options.
