Maiz Mexican — Restaurant in Stockholm

The atmosphere was nice and the music level was perfect for having a conversation with your friends. We had quite bad service. We ordered simple margaritas and we got Strawberry Margaritas instead. When we asked the waitress if these were supposed to be the regular margaritas, she said they were, so we believed it was a special thing. A few minutes later we saw another waitress deliver proper margaritas to another table, which was very confusing. The waitress never returned after that. After some time we wanted to order more food and more drinks, so we had to wave our hands and make faces to get her attention. When she came (very reluctantly) she did not waited for us to say anything but instead told us that 2h had passed and that we needed to leave. We had only had one drink each, and some totopos. We were hungry and disappointed. There was no one queuing to enter the restaurant, and there were tables available. To this point I don’t understand why would she kicked us out. Unfortunately the dirty and nasty environment killed our appetite. We were first sitting outdoors and everything was great. The Nachos were crunchy and not greasy. The toppings combined freshness of the vegetables and flavors of well cooked minced beef, and added up to the whole dish. The seasonings were perfect and we wanted to order more. The night went deeper so we moved indoors, and ordered more Nachos, again they were super delicious, coated with tomato based sauce but still preserved the crispy texture. However, a fly came and tried to land on our food, so I looked up, there were at least 20 flies laying on the wall beside our table. Imagine how many more flies and maggots were hidden in this place! I looked at the floor and it was dirty and greasy as well. Our appetite went away and called it a night earlier...

While the food was absolutely amazing, had the fish and salmon tacos, the staff was not. Two women were waiting tables and they both acted like we were a bother, rolling their eyes, more or less, when we asked questions. On the menu, a topping I'm allergic to wasn't mentioned. Since this happens quite a lot, my friend reminded me to ask, but only after we'd both ordered already. The waitress told us since we didn't request it to be removed (the "it" that wasn't mentioned on the menu), and the food is almost ready - we either remove "it" ourselves in the plate, or we have to pay for new tacos.

NEVER in my life, and I've had this allergy for 25 years, have I been treated like this.

It's a taco, small that it fits in my palm, a taco which is ordered over and over again by the dozens of people...
