Amazing Escape — Local services in Stockholm

I should've wrote this review ages ago! We visited Stockholm in April 2024 and complete the Revenge of the Tinder Swindler. The room was well done and the puzzles were all very congruent to the theme of the room. There was one puzzle that was broken or had been partially removed from solving the room, and we got unnecessarily stuck on this for a decent period of time (game masters: name in the drawer). That was frustrating, but otherwise there was a nice mix of puzzles.

What sets Amazing Escapes apart from many others is the genuine friendliness and passion of the staff. After we completed our room, we had the pleasure of chatting with our game master and the owner. It turns out this company is a true labor of love for the owner and his wife, whose first date was at an escape room! Their shared enthusiasm for escape rooms inspired them to create their own, and it truly shows in every detail. Despite the challenges, they’ve poured their hearts into crafting unique and engaging rooms that reflect their love for the escape room community. It was clear they are genuinely excited to share their passion with others.

Heard a lot of good stuff about this place from other reviews on Google so I had my expectations set high - sad to say I was disappointed. The room itself was okay - not the best escape room I've been to and not as atmospheric as I hoped it would be, but the variety of puzzles was good. However, we were not happy with our host. He behaved a bit inappropriate with us, and did not act very professionally. Might give Amazing Escape a new chance when there's another room available - but as for now I think there are far better escape rooms in Stockholm I'd...
