My wife suggested German food for pre-show dinner, and as the show was at Rival at Mariatorget, restaurant Liebling was very close. We booked a table and when we arrived at this rather small, bustling and cosy restaurant, we were shown to kitchen side places, a bar like setup, but instead of a bartender behind the counter, there were the two chefs in full swing. It turned out to be a really nice experience, as the two chefs were very friendly. They politely answered our curious questions (they hammer out about 70 schnitzels per day 😅) and recommended a good beer for our dish. We actually settled for two of those wienerschnitzels with sauerkraut, which proved to be a good choice. The lamb sausage unfortunately didn’t remove the odor of the lamb properly. The curry sauce and mustard sauce tasted like hotdog places in Germany.
