The carne asada burrito is by far the tastiest burrito I’ve had in Stockholm. The flavors.....just WOW 👌🏼 A much-needed punch to your taste buds in a city whose restaurant scene can feel quite bland and homogenous at times. I am a big fan of the food here but I cannot give it a full 5 stars unfortunately. The prices in-restaurant are OKAY but it’s really only a good value at lunch (when fries are included in the price). The prices shoot up on Uber Eats and don’t include a side. We still order every now and then (the burritos are worth it!). But unfortunately, there have been missing items from our order several times (Skanstull location). We ordered yesterday and paid over 500kr for 3 burritos and 1 side order of fries. The fries were forgotten. When you pay that much for so little, you expect it all to be there!
So to summarize, nice in-restaurant experience with really delicious burritos and a decent value. Ordering the food home is expensive and, in our experience, unreliable. An update of the menu on Uber Eats would be appreciated (Say “fries” instead of “extra fries” on the menu. Extra suggests you are already getting some included already).
I will definitely continue to recommend eating here but I hope the restaurant can improve its routines surrounding food...
Read moreThe food is good but the staff was not polite or serviceminded. I walked up to the front counter to get my order I placed in foodora app. The staff said something to me in a language I did not understand, then I showed my pick up order made in foodora and the staff did not say anything and turned to finish it and another order. I stepped aside an waited for around 6min. Then they asked about my order number and I showed my order in the app again and they said something about the order id number is something else. When they handed me my order I did not get a thank you or even a bye. I suspect they thought I was a delivery courier, as if that makes it ok to be rude? The staff seemed overworked and stressed, I hope they were not just two of them working with customers(friday evening), I could only see two more staff in the kitchen. This reflects poorly on the management. I would hope that the staff will get instructions on how to handle foodora customers better. But for me, I will probably not order any food again from this restaurant.

Read moreGreat taqueria style restaurant with a large and welcoming interior. The Border is a good place for crowds or just to hang out with it's roomy, cozy seating but it's located a little off the main streets making it easy to miss.
The menu is a bit curious, however. They pretty much just serve burgers and burritos (hence the name) and have a couple options for each. The burger is pretty standard, nothing special but it's good. I found the burrito to be more satisfying, possibly because it's so difficult to find a good burrito in Stockholm. They have a 'California burrito' (regular burrito with fries in it) which I found odd, even as a Californian.
They don't have much on tap but there are a few decent bottled beers. But there is one place they are lacking and that's hot sauces. The selection we found was pretty much your standard Tabasco style table sauces. I think if you're a taqueria and you're not going to offer salsas, at least get a few good bottled hot sauces, preferably with a bit of heat.
But don't let that put you off, pack your own hot sauce a give The...
