Once you arrive you are seated within a safe distance from other guests. The staff is service minded and want to ensure that you have a pleasant eating time here, the restaurant also have a good selection of drinks that will go well with the food that they serve. The food is served in the middle of the restaurant, and you have 7 different stations, The Asian buffet which consists of different Asian dishes, like stir fry vegetables, curry and other things. The duck, stir fry vegetables, and the cheese baked clams are all very tasty, there is more to try here. on the opposite side of the Asian buffet you have dumplings and some fried foods. I'm not a dumplings expert, but they are fresh and are tasty, the sesame seed fried balls are my favorite, although they are more for the dessert. you have the sushi station were they are preparing and serve the sushi, which is fresh and the fish they serve is good as well. The salad station offers a lot of variety too, you will find (however it might differ throughout the seasons) marinated bamboo, some salad cheese, bean sprouts, seaweed and so on, all tasty and fresh. For me the meat station, or barbecue station, is the best, here they have barbecued meat and vegetables all prepared and refilled with a steady pace. They have a lot different meats such as duck, chicken, lamb, ribeye and fish. The vegetables differ between the seasons. Everything here is delicious, and actually truly well prepared especially as it is in a buffet serving, it is great for a meat bonanza. the sauces, Ri Cora offers a variety of sauces, from garlic mayo, parsley mayo, bearnaise, sweet and sour, peanut sauce and more. Most of the time these are tasty, but sometimes you will find that some of them are overly salty, however, it is advised just to taste the sauces before you load up on your favorite, which you should do anyway. The dessert station, well they have two actually, one is filled with sweet and savory desserts, home baked apple pie, and a chocolate brownie, with a well sized fruit selection. And then you have the ice cream, they have about 6-8 different tastes, and it is a good quality ice cream, much to the joy of ice cream lovers.
It's one of my favorite restaurants in Stockholm, as the food quality is high, especially for a buffet, the staff is friendly and helpful, and even if the noise level can build up at times, it's an enjoyable atmosphere in...
Read moreThe food was okay but i feel it was a bit overpriced but nothing too serious. The managing staff however were very rude and did not speak Swedish or English fluently. I came with my friends but had to leave for 2 minutes to direct my other friends to the restaurant. My other friends were then at the front of the line while me and the rest were at the back. Everyone payed for themselves however we were placed all over the restaurant because we didn't specify that we wanted to eat together. Even after we payed we told them that we had already found seat all together but they weren't having any of it. They even refused us to go get our belongings. When a younger member of staff who spoke Swedish tried to help us the managing staff came and told him to leave. It definitely ruined our lunch and nearly the whole day out. When we went to go get seconds they nearly gave our seats away. When we went to get desserts we came back and all of our plates that had some food (to show we weren’t done) had been taken away and our half full drinks thrown away. When we told the server this he bought the rude member of staff back to speak to us. All he told us was ”No drinks, must pay. NO”. We didnt want any drama so we ate our desserts and left shortly after. Wont be coming back for sure. The place was clean however and some member of staff were sweet (the younger ones, the older ones were the problem...
Read moreIf you are very hungry this might just be the best lunch resturant in all of Stockholm. For the price of 165kr (~$15) you get access to as much as you want of a Sushi buffet that puts all but the very best sushi places in Stockholm to shame and a wasabi that I honestly thought was 30%+ wasabi but that upon questioning was told that it was way less but made with live. Further you get a grilled meat section where the food is continiously made. They make the entrecote to varied specs so if you want it medium rare, medium or well done, just look around and you'll find pieces that fit you. Unless they are overrun you could probably even ask for rare but I'm unsure, its just my impression of the very accomodating personel that they likely would. Besides that they also have a large selection of "westerness chineese" I personally haven't tried it all but while decent it wasn't quite as good as the meat section or the sushi. The "dessert" table should be avoided, it is the onky thing here that feels low budget, eat the real food and grab a pastry at a cafe afterwards if you must. The coffe is Zoegas best quality machine brew, so 9/10 at...
