Villa Dagmar's breakfast experience is simply unforgettable. Every dish teems with fresh ingredients and a culinary mastery that is above and beyond what you'd expect, even from a five-star hotel.

Friendly staff move with professional ease, creating an environment that feels like home, yet with an added touch of luxury. The stand-out feature for me was the adaptability of the kitchen team. They skillfully tweaked the menu to suit my taste, an unexpected pleasure that I genuinely appreciated.

And let's not forget the granola. Infused with just the right hint of cinnamon, it was a joy to the palate without being overly sweet. I loved it so much that the chef graciously shared the recipe with me - a gesture of kindness that wants me to recreate this little piece of Stockholm back home.

If you're looking for a breakfast spot that offers much more than food, but a memorable, personal experience, I can't recommend Villa Dagmar enough. It's a gastronomic haven right in the heart of Stockholm, one that will surely have you coming...

Rarely hand out such low ratings but two stars is really the maximum I can give after our ‘experience’. The service was a real disappointment: We were given a high table with stools when there was another table with comfortable chairs available. We kindly asked to switch and just got the rude answer “you didn’t book that table”. I ordered a glass of wine from the “standard” list. When my wine was the only one that did not arrive after 10-15 minutes I asked about it and they said that “they are looking for it in the cellar”. After another five minutes I gave up and asked for whatever they had available. Also, they did not fill our jar of water, did not serve any bread, forgot to give us cutlery, and portions were really small. Such a shame the service is this bad when the food is actually...

Follow up of earlier visit where we questioned the service. Unfortunately it hadn’t improved. If possible even worse. We went to celebrate our son’s 21st First the positive. Food was good and atmosphere great. The inner garden is a great place to chill. But… but.. Ordered cocktails and got it wrong. Then table light went out and had to ask to get it changed. Then ordered drink and food. Then food came… and after appr 10 mins drinks came. By that time food was getting cold. Then second table light went out..: Maybe it is just us and villa Dagomar that are not compatible. But for us there are so many restaurants in Stockholm we will choose.
