Yume Sushi Östermalm — Restaurant in Stockholm

Edit: I decided to give this another chance and it still disappoints, unfortunately I went home with the wrong order again! I ordered the salmon roll which is supposed to have halstrad lax. I only ordered this because I’m pregnant and to avoid possible issues. Guess what, the salmon was not halstrad. Thanks for nothing I guess, wasted my money yet again. Never again from this place, they always mess up my orders.

Probably the best sushi in town. Why do I rate it with 3? Because you cannot take online orders, phone orders and face to face orders and handle them in a timely manner in a 4m2 place. Every time I go there, I wait at least 20 mins together with 20 people in the tiniest place possible. I can see that people are getting frustrated with the long preparation time. I wish the owners would invest in a bigger place and possibly more staff. The last two times the take away orders were mixed, I ordered 10 bites salmon and Philadelphia, got 5 Philly and 15 salmon. Not cool. Probably will try and avoid it in the future just...

Either people know nothing about sushi or something fishy’s going on. There’s enough avocado in this sushi to feed a whole Mexican family and not much else. Oh yeah, I forgot there’s dried onion but that’s sprawled on top. It’s not like avocado is cheap, so why so much of it?! And what does it taste like? I don’t know. They use too much garnish and somehow I wonder if that’s intentional to hide the sushi’s bland taste. I don’t want to be a know it all, but they should reconsider their business and explore more with flavors rather than pretty things on top.

This is a average quality fusion sushi, has very little to do with authentic Japanese sushi (have lived in Japan so I know what it is), but that is probably not what they aim for. Bonus points for attempt to do rice, albeit serving it warm and not sticky, kinda ruins the experience of eating the sushi. Fish etc. were edible though, so no complaints there.
