August 2018: My wife and I treated some visiting relatives from abroad, twice in August 2018, to a Buffet dinner in the Amazing Thai Restaurant, Dragarbrunnsgatan, Uppsala. We all enjoyed the very delicious, exotic, appetizing, numerous different food. The staff/personnel are very polite, helpful, attentive & very professional. Reasonable prices. Highly recommendable. November 2018: We are very fond of eating Thai & Asiatic food. We usually visit Amazing Thai Restaurant in Dragarbrunnsgatan in Uppsala. Our recent lunch buffé visit was on the 15th & 21st of November 2018. FRIDAY, December 7, 2018: Amazing Thai Restaurant Lunch Buffe revisited by us, during a busy Christmas shopping day. Plenty of customers but still very good food. We missed the "Shrimp Tempura" which was replaced by fried Dim Sum/Dumpling. They were not so tasty! Serve SHRIMP TEMPURA again, please! We frequently visit Amazing Thai Restaurant at Dragarbrunnsgatan in Uppsala and we are very satisfied with the large variety of food they served at their Lunch or Dinner Buffé and very reasonable price. February 14, 2019: Valentines Day Lunch Buffé at Amazing Thai Restaurant was very good with delicious & hot Miso soup as starter. Followed by having a good selection of Sushi & 2 types of warm Dumplings or Dim Sum. Finally, as main meal, crispy & very tasty fried Shrimp Tempura & several warm Thai dishes. Very reasonable price for Buffé Lunch, 105 SEK per person. Highly recommendable. Update: Friday, April 26, 2019 - Revisited today the Amazing Thai Restaurant for Buffé Lunch, serveras kl. 11 - 15. I wish there was negative points as it is really needed for some places. problems with this place: Overpriced, really overpriced in comparison with other asian restaurants. Low quality sushi ( I mean it. Their food tastes awfully bad. I eat sushi a lot and I know what I am talking about) Noodles were not noodles at all. it tasted awfully bad. Expensive, you can get similar food for 2/3 of the price from restaurants close by. Very oily, the Pad Thai & red curry were WAY too sweet for my taste & bland, had to wait 25 minutes for dishes I suspect were cooked minimum an hour before. Also wish you could choose level of spiciness. Staff seem overworked & uncomfortable. We ordered take out & I wouldn’t want to dine in, very cramped & the buffet is in the middle of the room causing difficulty waiting in line or passing through.
