Tugg Burgers — Restaurant in Uppsala kommun

Sadly this place went downhill food wise since I first reviewed it. First of all, I went there a couple of times for lunch recently and got served patties that were burnt? Then last night, my wife caught a nasty case of food poisoning from her burger. It tasted rather bad but we thought it was just the strange combo of blue dressing and some buffalo sauce (pollo loco I think it was called, their monthly special). But obviously something was actually off with it. (She did not have any sides or anything else to eat after, so yes that is the cause of her poisoning!) My own burger did not poison me, but somehow it was much sweeter tasting than usual? Like someone poured some honey glaze on it (it was the chili sensation, but maybe they changed the recipe as they do sometimes). A bit off putting.

Shame really as this was the best burger place in town until recently, but we will not be coming back after this...

Great burgers, nice atmosphere!

One of my two favorit burger joints in town.Mainly because the meet is so tender and juicy.None of the other burger joints reach the same level. When you sink your teeth into it it disoves in your mouth instantly. It's quit a lot of fat in it.

They also have the most amazing milkshakes. They are very expensive but taste great. I reccomend the Nutella one. The strawberry was a letdown. Unfortunately they are expensive. Around 60kr for a small-ish serving. They are only available when there is surplus staff on-site.

This place can be crazy crowded, with queueing times reaching upwards 20+ min at lunch or dinner times. They have an app which I assume can speed up the process, but I haven't tried it.

The also have free delivery on Foodora! They claim the milkshakes are available there when there is enough staff, but I've never seen it apart from the first few month when...

Food was perfectly fine but you need a lot of time and patience to eat here. When we arrived only two other tables were waiting for food and as we put our order in on the website through the QR code as instructed a big group of 10+ people came in. We then waited over 45 minutes for 2 burgers but the big group got all their food before us. The server explained there is a different ticket number for orders placed at the cash than through the QR code which is how they got their food first. We were just about to ask for a refund and go somewhere else when they said our food would be only a few more minutes. The server was friendly enough and I don't think it was anything she could change but it wasn't all that acceptable of an experience.
