Tried a kebab box last night—now I'm rethinking my life choices 😂

Felt like treating myself to some fast food for dinner, and nothing hits quite like a good ol’ kebab. Walked in all happy, asked for it in a box—because, you know, I like eating without wearing half of it. As usual, I said everything except tomatoes… so naturally, it came with tomatoes. Classic.

Anyway, the taste was actually decent. Nothing mind-blowing, but solid enough to make me nod in approval while chewing.

Fast forward to the next morning: plot twist. Let’s just say I spent more time on the toilet than in bed. My stomach was doing somersaults and questioning all my decisions. Safe to say, that kebab box hit back. Hard. 😂

I’m not sure what went wrong—maybe bad meat, maybe the sauce, or maybe the tomatoes I didn’t ask for—but something in that box was on a mission.

Will I go back? Maybe… one day… when the trauma fades and I’m feeling adventurous again. But for now? I don’t recommend. Try it at your own risk—and if you do, let me know if you end up bonding with your...

The best Pide in Basel you get in this restaurant !!!!

I tried most of the more well known restaurants in Basel ( I live here), because i have a Pide - Fetish, and this one is simply the best, despite being a "snack restaurant/take away" and not a fine dining turkish restaurant. I had Pide in "better" restaurants which were much less tasty.

With spinach and cheese. Absolutely the king of Pide in Basel.

Adding at 19.10.25: In my opinion also the best chicken kebab (w extra meat). All a question of taste but i need to give tribute. The bread is just perfect and the meat really good (with that combo you already won 90%)....

I had a truly wonderful experience at this restaurant. Sitting outside, enjoying the beautiful view while watching the trams pass by, created such a peaceful and authentic atmosphere.

The pizza was served fresh from the oven straight to the table full of flavour and perfectly prepared. To top it all off, the Turkish tea added a special final touch to an already delightful meal.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more memorable. It was a perfect blend of great food, great service, and a great setting. I would highly recommend this place to anyone...
