McDonald’s — Restaurant in Basel

Standard Mc Donald's at a very good location. Friendly(ish) staff and fast service but they've gotten my order wrong twice this month. They keep forgetting or giving me the wrong food items. On the plus side they did give me the forgotten food items right away after I pointed out their mistake to them. Maybe they could slow down a bit and double check orders to avoid this. It's a shame because they're a good venue and obviously are trying hard to get everything right. I would have written this in a Mc Donald's feedback and not done this publicly but the receipt I received was partially shredded so I couldn't... It's a Swiss McDonalds like any other. If you've seen one, you've seen them all. The only reason to write this review is to mention that this particular branch functions as an unofficial waiting room for the train station: McDonalds provides the heated shelter and seating which the train station doesn't. You have to buy something of course, but the restuarant is big enough that under normal circumstances there won't be pressure to vacate your seat as soon as you've finished eating. The food is as expected for McDonald's, but overpriced, as per Switzerland. Being so close to France and Germany, was hoping it's priced more fairly.

The staff was helpful, but i had issues with the wifi that was out of their control.

Confirmed by other people in the restaurant, the network was not sending the SMS needed to connect to the wifi (which was the whole reason i ate there)
