Great place to enjoy tapas style Thai food. Especially recommended when you are a bigger group, as everyone can choose something they like and try new dishes.

Food: The Thai restaurant offers tasty tapas-style dishes, although some arrived lukewarm due to the high demand. Preheating the plates could be helpful. The desserts, like the sweet sticky rice and homemade ice cream, stood out as winners. 4/5

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with lots of seating options. There’s a nice terrace with seating too.

The ambience is nice, with good music playing.

The staff were really friendly and spoke English well.

I ordered Tom Kha Gai, Chicken Massaman, and mango sticky rice. Everything was delicious.

The curry was on the mild side, so make sure to mention if you like it spicy.

Rice is a nice thai restaurant in Basel on the south side of train station. I had lunch there during the week in December 2024 and overall it was a pretty good experience.
