Wonderful lunch - special Bernese dish What a wonderful lunch spot within a residential area.The restaurant itself has a great vibe and is very welcoming and obviously very popular with locals It is full of light with modern decor and tables well spaced Sabina brings her joy to the table as maitre d' while her husband creates high quality cuisine in the kitchen. There were four menus to cater for meat fish lovers and a vegetarian option as well a few options within that. We had a wonderful and enjoyable lunch experience at the lovely Haller‘s Brasserie. The set menu Anne-Claire started with a crunchy salad with a house dressing that was fresh and light but tasty to the palate, followed by a well roasted red cabbage (crispy on the outside, tender on the inside) served on a bed of lentil salad and it was topped with some caramelized walnuts and small bites of tasty slightly melted cheese. This restaurant is special. It offers internships aimed at young adults with a learning or mental impairment. They don't have a menu but three daily specials. Now these interns manage to produce lovely meals. I had the chicken daily special which was absolutely delicious. They also make fabulous home made lemonades well worth trying.
