Me and my husband chose this restaurant to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. We came all the way from USA and I can tell you this place didn't disappoint us. Very nice location, close to the lake and easy to find. We started our 5 course chef's tasting menu from appetizers by chef. It was mix of cheeses in different variations - deep fried, cream cheese, cheese truffle and refreshing gazpacho soup.
1.Our first tasting dish were amberjack ceviche with fresh mint, peach and lemon sauce. It was absolutely delightful. 2.Then we had poached egg in creamy pea puree and shaved with Belèer Knolle cheese. It was also one of my favorite dishes because it was so creamy and egg was a great addition to this dish. Also there were Bona crumbles - sweet to balance the pea puree. Next - Paccheridi Gragnano halves with oriental veal ragout. unfortunately this pasta wasn't my favorite. It was too al dente and I am not used to such a thick uncooked pasta. We ask waiter and he confirmed that's the way it should be. Also too much peanuts overwhelmed the sauce and it felt you are eating sneakers. But I absolutely loved veal ragout sauce, it was rich with flavors and very nicely done. 4.Then our next dish was Red Mediterranean tuna with charcoal, teriyaki mayonnaise, cucumber and puffed rice with seaweed. It was the best cooked tuna that I ever tried. It was so tender and melting on my tongue. Next was perfectly cooked Duck with cherries. I absolutely loved duck, it was cooked to perfection!!! Pre-dessert - strawberry basil puree to refresh tasting buds and prepare for the dessert. Vanilla cheesecake with apricot and carrot sorbet with prune compote. And complementary truffle selection from Chef to congratulate us with our anniversary. Absolutely best anniversary meal. I also loved that service here was very open and nice. It was my first Michelin star experience and I didn't felt any snobbism, like in other restaurants in Milan for example. Il nome rispecchia la vera essenza di ciò che avviene in cucina grazie alla mani d’oro dello chef Luca Bellanca e del suo team. Una metamorfosi della materia prima di primissima qualità in vere delizie per il palato e per gli occhi. Cordialità e accoglienza accompagnano il cliente in un viaggio dai sapori mediterranei e dal look estroverso e originale, a partire dagli amuse bouche divertenti e deliziosi come il bloody mary in provetta o i sassi del meta. In ogni piatto si sente la freschezza e la genuinità del prodotto, la cura e la ricerca delle materie prime, dal burro dell’alpe ticinese al pomodorino pachino gustosissimo che accompagna il patanegra spettacolare. Dall’antipasto al dessert una sorpresa continua, pesce fresco preparato con grande sapienza, carne di primissima qualità, una salsa alle verdure gustosissima chiamata umami, e primi tra cui le linguine ai calamari che ti lasciano a bocca aperta. Il menu cambia mensilmente e in base alla stagionalità dei prodotti, inoltre a pranzo il ristorante offre sempre un piatto diverso.
