Excellent Indian food on a cute, quiet, clean, tiny street that's conveniently walkable from the Grand Piazza and yet far enough away to avoid the crowds of it. Wir haben das Essen, Ambiente und Service sehr genossen. Gerade für europäische Verhältnisse waren wir auf der Suche nach einem Lokal mit einem reichhaltigen Angebot und sehr zufriedenem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Hier kamen wir hinzu noch zu gesundem und, endlich mal wieder, veganer Küche. Letzteres ist doch sehr rah in der Gegend. Ich hoffe sehr die Gemeinde und Kundschaft von Locarno weiß das Angebot zu schätzen und diese sehr schöne Lokal wird weiterhin gut besucht. Wir wurden jedenfalls sehr freundlich empfangen und auch umgehend bedient und bekamen noch zusätzlich Optionen offeriert. Ein Punkt empfand ich aber als seltsam, nicht als Makel. Ich ging von einem vegetarischem Restaurant mit indischen Einflüssen aus, ich hatte befürchtet, dass dementsprechend auch die Gerichte ordentlich gewürzt sind und evtl. meine Begleitung sich auf scharfe Kost einstellen möge. Ich selber liebe scharf, zwar nicht zu heftig, aber etwas darf schon sein. Das Essen schmeckte sehr gut, ausgewogen und vielfältig im Geschmack. Es war auch alles angenehm, aber gerade die erwartete Schärfe kam nicht ganz durch. Ich würde mir beim nächsten Besuch nur eine klitzeklein Menge an Schärfe mehr wünschen, dann wäre beim Essen noch 5 Sterne drin. Aber so bekommt das Lokal von mir in der Gesamtbewertung trotzdem 5.
