Sunday brunch. Good formula, though I am a sucker for at least one freebie in a brunch formula. You have a choice of pastry, egg/french toast, veggie or meaty plate, and one hot drink, no milk included. Everything was excellent. Portions were on the small side - but more than correct for the price. The bread was from Bretzel, which is not my fav, but it's a local fixture so it gets a pass. Service was excellent. Coffee was Carasso, just so you know. The space is full of light, but it would benefit of some acoustic ceiling tiles. It's a good fit for the neighborhood, wishing...

If it is enough of the mainstream places you’ve been hanging around, this is the perfect spot for a change. Located in a neighbourhood park, away from the city centre, it offers a menu with seasonal ingredients. The Chef has an exquisite touch to the recipe, and it was one of the best cauliflower dishes executed perfectly. Tip of the hat to the kitchen team. The service team was attentive and cheerful. The bread was another top 3 of mine. And the stars it got also covers the WC experience, spotless and well-cared for the...

Marie, Jean-Baptiste, Colin and their wonderful team share a vision of what a neighbourhood café-restaurant should feel like. Le Picotin is sophisticated in its simplicity. It's like a large living room full of old friends and good (yet reasonably priced) food. Great on a rainy Autumn day, but we also can't wait for Spring, when Le Picotin's terrace will come to life and add a Mediterranean touch to St Jean. Congratulations on living your dream (lots of hard work behind it...), and thank you for a lovely evening...
