This is my favorite bar in Geneva; I wish I had discovered it sooner! My husband and I had a friend watch our baby and came here for a rare date night. I saw the Chinese place across the street and told him I wanted Chinese food after, but apparently the bar let’s you order from that Chinese place and they deliver it to you in the bar! It isn’t really a speakeasy since it’s obviously a bar, but it does remind me of speakeasies in New York with the creative cocktails. I had the Smokey bear, something sencha, and above the clouds. I liked that the drinks often come with cute decorations, like a burning incense for one of mine and a kumquat flower for my husband’s. As I barely remember the names of my own drinks I definitely don’t remember my husband’s, but they were all very good. Bar staff was very friendly too. The Chinese food was decent (and I love that you can order it...

"Le Verre à Monique" is an absolute gem hidden in Geneva's vibrant streets! From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted by its cozy, vintage ambiance and warm lighting. The cocktail menu is a masterpiece of creativity - each drink meticulously crafted with house-made infusions and unexpected flavor combinations that delight the senses. The bartenders are true artists who take the time to explain their creations with passion. The perfectly curated music and intimate seating arrangements make it ideal for both romantic evenings and catching up with friends. If you're looking for Geneva's best cocktail experience with impeccable service, look no further than this wonderful establishment. A must-visit that will have you returning again and...

One of my favorite spot in Geneva! Love the cosy, vintage chic interior design and the old school glasses. Despite the workload the barmans are always nice and kind. Popcorn and water are served as soon as you arrive, the music not too loud so you can actually talk (wow!) and the COCKTAILS ARE TO DIE FOR ! I'd recommend to book a table if you want to be comfortable though cause it can be crowded. Oh! and there's also a cute outdoor seating area for summer time. Personal favorites: The big in Japan and the Eldorado (if you feel adventurous) - But honestly it's...

A cocktail bar in Plainpalais that offers a variety of classical cocktails as well as some exotic options. The cocktails are all priced at 17.90 chf, so there is no difference whether you take a gin based one or a rhum based one. The atmosphere is nice, but it is super hot inside and the waiting time for a cocktail is long which is normal given the complexity of some cocktails. Overall a nice place, but need to try again when it is less boiling inside.

My favorite cocktail bar in Geneva, by a significant margin. Relaxed friendly atmosphere, great service, spectacular cocktails and attention to detail preparing them. The butter pop corn side offering is now a classic there! The small terrace in the summer is very pleasant. Also by far the best music in Geneva (for my taste). Not very brightly lit (see my photos), but that fits very well. Not cheap, but you do get what you pay.
