What an amazing place! Across Geneva you will be badly surprised of how much they charge for less. This is not the case here. When I was greeted by the stuff they made sure I was comfy enough and took my order right away. The brought me also a starter salad, which was a complimentary dish by the restaurant, and my lunch arrived fairly quick. The taste of it was amazing! My congrats to the chef! Very helpful and friendly they offered me coffee and all of that at the incredible price of 22CHF! An extremely low price regarding the standards of Geneva! Amazing locations at the corner of the street, always crowded but not in a bad way. If you want something fast to eat and want to spend lots of money this is the...

We originally stopped off here as my cousin had mentioned that it was one of the oldest eateries in Geneva. I had been badgering him all weekend to take us to places that could be considered Swiss or Genevan eateries.

All in all, the experience was good - we were catching a flight, so ordered the plate of three salads and a couple of toasted sandwiches that were served with fries and a honey dijon mustard.

The interiors were very reminiscent of a traditional pub/ gastropub. Only negative would be the cigarette smoke from the tables outside would waft into the restaurant. This may be due to visiting in Summer and the windows were open for ventilation....

This used to be a favorite of mine. It had an authentic old time feel and I would have rated this place a 5/5.

Not anymore! I suspect the management has changed because the feel has also completely changed. It has lost a lot of what made it a cozy café/glacier and now there is a lot more focus on food and commercialism.

The place is packed so I guess the changes are good for business, but Geneva has lost an iconic location.

Last thing I hate are the shameful faux blackboards. They have put up TV screens that double as fake blackboards for the specials. How hard is it to write the specials on the...

Cafe Glacier Remor was my favorite place in Geneva. A really old fashioned place that probably has not changed much since the 1920's. I really liked sitting in the patio ordering beer after beer while people watching. The snacks are really good, i really enjoyed having the tapenade on toast. The service is OK, but you should not expect 21st century kind of service and should look at it as part of the whole experience. It is absolutely recommended.
